Malbec

Malbec used to be an important component of the Bordeaux blend and is still the backbone of the French Cahors wine. However, it is the high-quality Malbec wines of Mendoza, Argentina that brought this varietal back into fashion. Malbec can produce dark and full-bodied wines in a rustic, or lush and ripe style.
